The clubhouse is a community that the staff and rehabilitation members form together. At the houses, the focus is on individual strengths, not diagnoses. There are 23 clubhouses in Finland.
Clubhouses are equal communities formed by mental health rehabilitators and paid staff. They supplement psychosocial services and promote the recovery of rehabilitation members. Clubhouses offer their members goal-oriented activities for everyday life, peer support and individual guidance. For many members, the goal is to return to working life or studies .
