Community Mental Health Centers are public services that provide care and services for people with mental health issues. Their responsibilities were to participated and leading self-help groups, organizing activities in direct contact with people with mental issues, participated at home visits with other community mental health specialists, support and communication with people with mental issues. The implementation project team provide 2 directions for support: peer to peer specialists and support for community mental health specialists from centers. 7 Peer to peer specialists were employed in Community Mental Health Centers from 5 districts: Soroca, Florești, Bălți, Călărași (2 peer to peer specialists) and Strășeni (2 peer to peer specialists).
