The training is divided into 2 parts: expertise of experience & peer support. Particular attention is paid to supporting institutions in welcoming a peer helper into a team. Indeed, 4 training modules are dedicated to them, with the following axes of reflection: The objectives are: Welcoming and supporting a peer helper into a team; discussion around the work and missions of each person; reflection around the place of a peer helper in the institution; collaborative training of each participant; dissemination / promotion of information on the practice of peer support. The training group is restricted in order to favor participatory methodologies (crossed life stories, exchanges of knowledge, role plays, contributions of specific knowledge, etc.). The training modules are led by peer helpers, clinicians, philosophers, and social workers. They allow the production of up-to-date knowledge on the functions of peer helpers, the experience of psychological suffering, coping, help, care, recovery processes; as well as on the living contexts and resources of local networks.
