Within the scope of the project “Promotion of Leadership and Empowerment Capabilities”, two collaborators presented the “CEAM – Mutual Help Empowerment Center”, a feature of the Association for Psychosocial Study and Integration (AEIPS), coordinated and promoted exclusively by People with Experience of Mental Illness, to promote their self-advocacy and empowerment. CEAM has been developing, since 2001, several activities, such as the promotion of peer support through the promotion of a mutual aid group as well as a women’s group.
