The Recovery Academy offers a place to follow a course or training in groups, both on location in Alkmaar, Hoorn, Schagen and Den Helder, but also online . At the Recovery Academy we work on increasing your own resilience. In this mental health service 40 peer experts work in our recovery colleges where all citizens in the catchment area are welcome. We make plans or goals and learn to deal with vulnerability, by learning from others what helps them in their recovery process. Connecting with peers proves in practice to be important and healing for the recovery process. The services offered by the Recovery Academy are for everyone, even if you are not (yet) being treated at GGZ Noord-Holland-Noord.
